1. Garhmukteswar

Garhmukteshwar is approximately 100 Kms far from Delhi and well connected by road to Delhi NCR region. It is a Holy also known as Chota Haridwar and situated near the bank of holy Ganges River. This place is known as an ancient city of Hastinapur Empire of Mahabharat Era.

This holy place is known for the Hindu temple of Mukteshwar Mahadeva, dedicated to Lord Shiva. A huge Shiva Linga installed inside this temple which is placed by Sage Parasurama as per Purans. Countless devotees visit the temple during Shivrathri and Kanwaryatra. It is also said that this Temple was build by King Shivi a great Devotee of The Shiva.
